What Causes Vaginal Discharge Of Odor Filled Fluid Post Hysterectomy?
I have had a hysterectomy. I am 58, not sexually active. I have had over the past several weeks a discharge that is fluid like, but smells like feta cheeze (for lack of a better explanation). Today, I had a bright red bloody discharge that lasted for only one bathroom visit. What could this be. I ve had blood work and it came back clear.

The vaginal discharge with odor filled fluid post hysterectomy indicate stump infection with staph or other sort of bacteria most likely. Kindly get a swab culture report of vaginal discharge done in a microbiology lab and turn up with the results of the same. Till that time, plenty of liquids and fresh butter milk intake will help to replenish the vaginal flora as well.
