What Causes Vaginal Discharge With Bad Odour And Lower Back Pain?
I barely ever queefed (only did it when I had sex). Now for the past like 3 weeks I queef every time I go pee. It s very concerning because I ve also had some weird smelling discharge and my vagina doesn t smell the same as it did. The smell is worse while having sex. I ve also been experiencing horrible pain in my lower back and abdomen.
Your symptoms sound concerning for a vaginal infection, and especially with the lower back and abdominal pain, I would be concerned about pelvic inflammatory disease. This is usually caused by sexually transmitted infections, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, but may be caused by other bacteria as well. For this reason, I believe it would be important for you to get checked as soon as possible and get started on antibiotics. A pelvic inflammatory disease that is not treated can lead to complications such as scarring in the uterus that can cause chronic pain and cause problems with fertility in the future, and so it is important to get treated as soon as you can.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
