What Causes Vaginal Infection Along With Jaw Pain?

I am experiencing vaginal thrush and smelly creamy white discharge, along with malaise and lower jaw pain. Also, Whenever I have intercourse with my boyfriend, I feel a burning sensation which leads to a constant desire of peeing. What are the possible causes of this and how do I treat it? Thank you!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynaecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis.

As of now, you can use clotrimazole lotion to cleanse your genitals. The jaw pain is not related to vaginal infection and may be due to something else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
