What Causes Vaginal Infection And Painful Urination?

I m going away for the week with my family and I m getting swelling, spots and one part of my vagina is extremely painful whenever I urinate? My discharge always looks a little like puss and it s almost a green/ yellowish colour and is almost like water. I also have recently been diagnosed with tonsillitis for the second time in a month and am coughing non stop. Because of this the area that is hurting most on my vagina is very painful whenever I cough, sneeze, sit down, or even walk whereas peeing? I m going to get checked out on Saturday and I m extremely nervous. I just want to know if there is anything I can do to ease the pain? And would the chlorine in the swimming pool help it or make it worse? I m 16.
