What Causes Vaginal Infection While On Clindamycin?
I was diagnosed of diverticulis last week, I was rushed to the ER due to severe abdominal pain.
Dr. prescribed me two antibiotics clindamycin 300 mg 3x day...& smz/tmp DS 800-160 2 x a day both for 10 days, clindamycin's 2 cap left... smz/tmp 1 left, yesterday I noticed There was white stuffs on my vagina
my questions can I just stop taking this medicine, before it gets worse

welcome to hcm ...as you were prescribed broad spectrum antibiotics you are vulnerable for candid infections ..thats why you have devoped vaginal infections ..you should take candid vaginal pessary as clotrimazole vaginal pessary to be inserted high up in vagina for 12 days ..if one cap is left take it as such ..
