What Causes Vaginal Itching And Abdominal Pain While On Susten?

my name is aider am about 12 weeks pregnant n my doctor adviced I use susten 400mg b4 bed this was after I had a threatened miscarriage 2days back but I have developed stomach pains the whole of today n itchiness in my vaginal area what should I do???

Hi,

Sustain is a pregnancy hormone. It helps in maintenance of pregnancy &fetal growth. Being a high dose pill, it can cause acidity, giving you pain in the stomach. You will get some relief with ice cold milk in sips & suck antacid pill over the counter. Tablet Gelusil. Before you meet your doctor. Raised hormone alters the normal vaginal flora to allow trichomonas infection to flourish such infection causes itching in vagina. This would be relieved by Fluconazole cream application.
