About 4-5 days ago I had unprotected sex, I took plan b the day after I had intercourse. the guy I was with was a virgin and so was I, within 10 hours after we had intercourse my vagina started to itch and then next day a little bit of brown discharge stared appearing, and now I m bleeding heavily just like I m on my period but I finished it just a week ago. Whats going on ?
Hello,The following are causes of itching and bloody discharge from vagina after an intercourse: 1) vaginitis which may be caused by: Candidiasis Bacterial vaginosis Trichomonas 2) Sexually transmitted infections like Chlamydia also cause itch and bloody discharge 3) Heavy bleeding in between the periods is also caused by the following: 1) Endometriosis 2) Adenomyosis 3) Uterine polyps
You need to go to a gynecologist for thorough clinical examination and any tests like pap smear and ultrasound pelvis to identify the cause and for appropriate treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
