What Causes Vaginal Itching And Thick Yellow Discharge After Having Unsafe Sex?
Dear Dr,I had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago abd took ella tablet on the day itself. After that incident, i had itching, and yellowish-slightly-thicker-than-usual vaginal discharge. The itching has now stopped and the amount of discharge have reduced. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was negative. However, i have not had my period yet. Am i pregnant? Whats wrong with me? Kindly advise, thank you.

The yellowish discharge could be normal but at the same time does raise concern for a possible infection which could be a common simple one or even an STD. I would recommend a urine analysis and vaginal swab test for further evaluation and treatment.
