Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Intrauterine insemination (IU)) is an assisted reproductive technique performed by threading a very thin flexible catheter through the cervix and injecting washed sperm directly into the uterus. Bleeding or spotting doesn't usually happen, but it isn't uncommon. It is most common to have some bleeding if the doctor had trouble reaching the cervix during the procedure. Some women also have light bleeding with ovulation. Hence, you need not worry much about it now. Kindly take the medications as prescribed and do the follow-up as scheduled. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
