What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Having Copper T?

Hello.. I got copper t inserted 2 months after my c section though I haven t had periods.. I did not have intercourse.. am breastfeeding my baby.. I have spotting from the day I got it inserted.. is it normal? As I got it inserted without having periods..

Hello,

As court T inserted after a C section, it is the best time to insert after delivery. As you are breastfeeding baby, you may not have periods because breastfeeding inhibits periods for about 4 to 6 months.

So vaginal spotting occasionally occurs. it has nothing to do with Copper T. Though sometimes copper t insertion may cause heavy vaginal bleeding.
