What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Intercourse?

i was placed on medroxyprogesterone 10mg on may 11 and immediatetly my period started. I was told to take for ten days and on may 21st my period stopped. i have been sexually active with my husband and today i am spotting..is this normal. we are trying to conceive

Hi,

Bleeding after intercourse can be done due polyp in cervix or vagina, infection, pre-malignant or malignant lesions of the cervix or due to very rough sex. If the OBGYN specialist had examined you internally and performed pap smear test, and had found nothing abnormal, then it is likely due to rough intercourse.

You can apply lubricant jelly during intercourse to avoid vaginal injury and bleeding during rough intercourse. Decreased flow and duration of the periods is normal with increasing age. There is nothing to worry about.
