Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 53. I went through menopause several years ago, however this June I had a uterine polyp removed along with an ablation as this was the second polyp. Recently I have been having clear, watery sometimes sticky vaginal discharge. Twice it had blood on the toilet paper but nothing requiring pads.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Every blood discharge after menopause should be investigated. Your polip should have gone through biopsy to determine his nature(benign or malign). You need to continue to follow up with your gynecologist. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
