Hello,
Provera depot is a long acting hormonal contraceptive, the inbuilt hormone being active for 3 months. It causes menstrual irregularity during the period. Even after withdrawal of the injection.
Hormonal imbalance caused by the injection remains for a prolonged time, so normal menstruation, ovulation and conception is not possible till hormonal pattern returns to normal and menstruation gets normal (It may take 6 months to 1.5 years depending on the period for which the contraceptive was used).
I feel taking Clomiphene at this stage would add to hormonal confusion. So, better you wait for normal menstruation to start. In case the menstrual irregularity remains longer, you should consult a gynecologist to exclude/find other causes of irregular periods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
