What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Taking Postinor?

Hi. A week ago I took postinor because I had unprotected sex and today I have a little bleeding but it stopped and I m not suppose to get my period for another week. My last period was on the 23rd of June. Is it normal to have spotting after using postinor ?

Understand your concern
Yes vaginal spotting are normal after taking postinor. It is due to high progesterone in postinor and 5-7 days after taking high progesterone mild spotting will occur due to withdrawal of progesterone.
It will disappear in 3-5 days.
Some time period may be delayed by postinor by 1 week.
So if period will be delayed by 10-12 days then you have to confirm the pregnancy by HPT and or by Blood HCG.
Because there is some failure rate around 5-7 percent to preven the pregnancy.
So just be calm, spotting will occur in 50 percent women after using Postinor.
