What Causes Vaginal Spotting After The Menstrual Cycle?

Finished my last Period 2 weeks ago.. Doesn t feel like anything menstrual related.. But evertime I urinate, just a bit of blood shows up on the toilet paper it s been about 48 hours consistently. No medication, no more stress than usual, haven t been on birth control for years, should I be worried?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Spotting what you are having is unlikely to be arising from uterine cavity and related to menstrual bleeding.
The other possibility could be due to urinary tract infection, which could have remained asymptomatic causing mucosal injury and bleeding from it.
Kindly get a urine routine examination done and consult Urologist with report for evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
