What Causes Vaginal Spotting After Using An Albothyl Suppository?
My wife has bright red or fresh blood discharge after a day using her first dose albothyl suppository, she took the supp after her menstrual period, is this side effect normal? We had no contact as prescribed by the OB and she s not pregnant at the moment.

Albothyl suppositories are not supported to give the side effect of haemorrhage. They may give irritation but not haemorrhage. This may be related to the infection of vagina or colon that was the indication of taking it. I recommend her to stop taking it till the bleeding stops and reuse later.
