What Causes Vaginal Spotting Along With Dark Brown Discharge?
I'm on mirena birth control, I've had it for about a year now and have spotting occasionally. My regular period has been dark brown. But recently (the past 2 months) I have had very dark brown DISCHARGE in between periods that, when hits the water, looks like a bunch of flakes floating around. I have been diagnosed with HPV last year as well but have no known symptoms. I'm wondering if the dark brown discharge is caused by my HPV, or If I have another sort of infection, please give me some sort of answer. Thankyou.

With the history hormone medicine taken for contraception so such bleeding with brown color with some irregularities may be possible because of disturbances in physiological hormone cycle, but this comes to normal and no need to worry about this, take care.
