What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Delayed Periods?

I spotted almost 2 weeks and ago and i thought it was my period but it was really little bit i did that for 3 days i took a pregnancy test and it told me no but after i spotted i start to take some new pills venlafaxine can you tell me what is wrong with me because i still haven t had a period

Hello. Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic. Delayed periods can be due to a variety of causes. Most important could be anemia. Get your haemoglobin tested. If low then take appropriate haematinics. Other causes could be a hormonal imbalance. Need to get thyroid LH FSH prolactin tests. Stress could exacerbate all these factors. Need to de-stress. Eat a healthy diet and see if your periods return. Otherwise it is essential to see a gynecologist who ll do a few tests to determine the cause. Hope you have got an answer. Thanks.
