What Causes Vaginal Spotting And Lump Inside The Vagina After Having Sex?
hi, I recently sex for the first time a week ago and have since experienced spotting. however, recently after my second time, I had a pool of blood coming out of me. and just today I felt inside of my vagina and felt a large soft wall like a lump and next thing I know there is a bunch of blood spewing out of me as though I am on my period.. What is wrong with me? I m scared.

thank you for asking your concern madam and welcome to hcm. most common cause for the bleeding after first sex is rupture of hymen membrane. this is a thin membrane inside the vagina which mostly ruptures with periods and some time during sex also. forcefull sex is also a common cause for bleeding. if intercourse is coinciding with the periods then bleeding can occur after sex. in any of the case there is no need to worry if bleeding is not large enough. what you felt a soft wall like it may be clotted blood which got out with touching. if you are not experiencing any further bleeding or having mild menstrual bleeding then there is no need to worry. if the bleeding is more then you have to take a tablet called tranexemic acid but you should consult a doctor then only you should take it.
