What Causes Vaginal Spotting Between Periods?

Hi ! I need help and advice pls.. I am 44 yrs i hVe my period very light .. Sometimes it thick brown color ans sometimes very pale reddish its contenuesly for a month ... This now almost one year happened of cycle i am worried .. i dont feel any pain from vagina .. what this cause from ? Even if i have intercause it easily bleeding

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the description, it appears that you could be going in for the phase of menopause.
However, since you are complaining of bleeding following intercourse, it would be advisable for you to undergo an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and per speculum examination to find what could be the cause for it. You might need to undergo certain other investigation like PAP smear examination, if necessary.
Accordingly, the treatment can be instituted.
Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard for proper assessment and management.
