What Causes Vaginal Spotting During 15th Week Of Pregnancy?
Hello doctor. I m 15 weeks pregnant and had blood spotting a week ago. It was brown old blood and somethin kind of a hardened mucus came out on the second day. These two days, after the first spotting, blood was only found on wiping with a cloth. It stopped completely after two days. My ultrasound scan is fine. My doctor advised me rest and Susten 200 tablet to be taken twice. How long do I need to take this tablet? will there be side effects if I stop taking them now?

Hello,
Your doctor started you on susten because he is suspecting conditions like threatened abortion. Susten is a progesterone group of drug and it may be required for two weeks. Nothing much to worry as it is a safe drug and it will not harm your baby.
