What Causes Vaginal Spotting During 2nd Week Of Pregnancy?

Hi. Im 2 1/2 weeks pregnant, first time, i spotted for a week last month and i thought it was done now its starting again and i keep getting burning pains all across my stomach..is the baby okay? i cant get to the doctors until the 28th...is this normal?

When you say second week of pregnancy, i can not tell if it is calculated from your last menstrual period or from conception.However, if it is from you last menstrual period, you will need to do a pregnancy test if not yet done to confirm pregnancy.Possible causes of vaginal bleeding/spotting 2 weeks from your last menses may include:
-Pregnancy related causes like implantation bleeding, ectopic pregnancy, spontaneous abortion, molar pregnancy
-Non-pregancy related causes may include: PID/STI, pelvic masses, hormonal imbalances
I will suggest you start with a pregnancy test.Then see the Gynecologist for evaluation.
