What Causes Vaginal Spotting During Early Pregnancy?
Hi there, I took a pregnancy test last week that came back positive (1 day late into my period). The following 2 days I had cramping with no bleeding. I started to bleed on the 3rd day and had heavy cramps with heavy bleeding. I took another 2 tests and both came back negative. But now my period is done, and I am feeling dizzy and am having sharp cramps and aches in my breasts. What could this mean?
When the test came positive it means you were pregnant. But after 2 days if spotting start, indicate that embryo failed to stuck to the uterine wall. Followed by heavy bleeding means embryo has been evacuated and it's called a miscarriage. Reasons may be unknown or may be due to unaware of the pregnancy. So test became negative.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
