General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Sometimes occasional spotting can happen during first few weeks of pregnancy. But if it happens regularly and more number of times in a day, then it should be viewed with caution. It may lead to miscarriage and hence one needs to be careful.
What treatment your Doctor has advised is absolutely right. Kindly follow it very strictly. It is not only medication, but you should not strain physically in addition. That's why bed rest is advised.
Kindly get a scan after 2 weeks and consult your doctor with report for proper advise.
Take care and All the best.
