General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Intermittent vaginal spotting associated with bleeding could happen after intercourse due to mechanical injuries to the vaginal mucosa.
Also, many a times, some of the remnant mucosal tissues of endometrium from the previous cycle could still remain and might get expelled out during or after intercourse due to contractions happening with orgasms. Such blood can be brown or dark in colour.
Kindly wait for your periods to happen. If there is delay in getting your periods this time, kindly take a urine pregnancy test and consult Gynaecologist for evaluation and further management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
