What Causes Vaginal Spotting Post Menstrual Cycle While Suffering From Fibroid?
Please I have been diagnosed of fibroid. The doctor said my endometrium is normal and I have a normal annexation. There is no fluid in the rectouterine space or POD but I tend to blood traits in my discharge even after menstruation. I have reported to the doctor but I still experience it. Please what should I do
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Experiencing vaginal spotting after menstrual cycle is complete while having fibroid is mainly due to endometrial reaction to the presence of fibroid. Although clinically endometrium appears to be normal, there may be existence of pockets of hyper-reactions, which may be associated with intermittent bleeding. Kindly get an ultrasound abdominal scan done to know about the status of fibroid and endometrium. Your bleeding problems would only subside once you get the fibroid removed by means of surgery. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
