What Causes Vaginal Spotting, Stomach Pain, Fever And Nausea After Unprotected Sex?

Hello, I had an abortion 16th june this year. A week after i had unprotected sex, i m not sure if my boyfriend came in me or not. but last time we had sex i saw blood in my urine, after that i started feeling stomach pain then graduated to fever and feeling nauseous. P.s the day i had fever/high temperature i was completely normal in he morning but later was bad. could i be pregnant??

Dear-Thanks for using our service . I understand your concern and will advise you to have a gynecologic exam if you still with fever and pain. After an abortion, the vaginal walls are very sencitive and is advisable to avoid intercourse for 3-4 weeks to wait for the complete vaginal recovery. You might have a vaginal infection that will need treatment. In terms of blood in the urine after sex, that could be from a cystitis or bladder infection vs blood from the vagina due to irritation or infection. Again, have a check up with your gynecologist and get an urine sample for regular checkup and culture.You might need antibiotics /
