i had unprotected sex for less than a minute or so before two months and i tested for hiv 1n 2 antibodies,combo,p24 antigen all are non rective wid refrence range 0.03 and 0.07.i tested about 4 times till now.plz let me know why reference range apper and it increased in second test.
Don't bother about the reference value. It is important whether it is reactive or nonreactive. That is all. Your tests are nonreactive for HIV. It is sure that you are HIV 1 Free as per your results and it is very much conclusive, as you had 4th generation Combo test. HIV1 is the commonest infection throughout the world except i Africa. HIV 2 is very rare (less than 1%), has to be ruled out by either 4th generation test or with another antibody test 12 weeks after the high risk activity. That will totally eliminates the possibility of both HIV 1&2. Dr S.Murugan
