Urologist 's  Response
Hello,

Varicocele is the most common cause of infertility in men and it is also the common cause of secondary infertility. Secondary infertility is defined as having infertility after being able to conceive a child.

This is explained because varicocele causes gradual damage to the testes and abnormalities in the semen parameters.

I suggest you do get an ultrasound, semen analysis to determine if you still have a varicocele and get the necessary treatment to improve your chance fertility.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Manuel C See IV, Urologist
