What Causes Vasovagal Syncope?

I experienced an episode of vaso-vaga syncope today secondary to a painful recital cramp. Other symptom present was a violent cold sweat. Just curious what the cause could be. Ive had maybe 10-15 of these episodes in my life. This wad the first timein public though.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an overreaction of the parasympathetic nervous system due to the pain. There is nothing to worry about!
This is a normal physiological reaction which may occur in every healthy individual. Of course it happens more often in susceptible persons, like you!
