What Causes Vertigo After Removal Of A Tick From The Leg?

I removed a small tick from my leg yesterday about 1:30 pm, About 2 am, when getting out of bed, I experienced sever vertigo. Before removing the tick, I covered the area with alcohol, removed the tick with tweezers carefully, and applied alcohol afterward. Only a small red dot remains on the leg with slight itching.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be a non specific syncope. Nothing much to worry and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. If you experience similar symptoms again, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
