What Causes Vertigo After Taking Acteane?

I began taking a homeopathic medication for hot flashes called Acteane about a week ago. The last couple of days, I ve been experiencing vertigo. I ve had vertigo once before several years ago. Do you have any knowledge of where or not Acteane could be causing the vertigo this time. It is not listed on the medication list that may cause vertigo probably because it is not a prescription medication. Thank you.

Hello,

The homoeopathic medication called Acteane is not known to cause vertigo. It may not necessarily be related to the drug, the fact that you have had vertigo in the past would support that, may be simply due to a recurrence, related most commonly to inner ear disorders. You may use antihistamines like meclizine or dimenhydrinate to alleviate symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
