What Causes Vertigo And Spasms In The Right Leg?

For a year I ve been experiencing severe vertigo ,in which my right leg shakes and I can t walk, I have muscle pains ,numbness in toes and tingling, stabbing pains in legs arms ,like electric shock .I ve seen an ENT doc who couldn t find anything wrong with my ears ..These symptoms come and go and can happen anytime

Hi,

•     Vertigo is a symptom, rather than a condition itself and treatment depends on rught cause. You should see you GP if you have persistent signs of vertigo or it keeps coming back.

Causes of vertigo may include: benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, migraines – severe headaches, labyrinthitis – an inner ear infection. Medicines, such as prochlorperazine and some antihistamines, can help in the early stages or most cases of vertigo.

Also, we recommend: do simple exercises to correct your symptoms, sleep with your head slightly raised on two or more pillows, avoid bending down to pick up items, avoid extending your neck – for example, while reaching up to a high shelf.
