I have had vertigo for about a week. It was very bad for a few days but it is not as bad now. My nose started bleeding a few minutes ago but it just stopped (it bled a lot). I went to the doctor yesterday and gave me meds for the dizziness. I have never had a nose bleed before. Does this go along with vertigo?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Yes, nose bleed could cause dizziness. It could be due to hypotension or panicking. I recommend the following. 1) When nose bleeds, pinch and hold the nose for few minutes and breath through mouth. 2) Hemocoagulase nasal drops 3) A through examination of nose by ENT doctor to find the cause for bleeding. 4) Vestibular examination to rule out vestibular pathology as cause for dizziness. You will be fine. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help. Wish you a good health and speedy recovery. Regards, Dr Paparaja S MBBS MS Consultant ENT Surgeon
