What Causes Vertigo Upon Getting Up In The Morning?
for the past few days I have been experiencing vertigo. Mostly when I get out of bed in the morning. Yesterday I had a mild vertigo almost all day. Today I was ok until about 30 minutes ago, when I had a case so severe that I had to get down on my hands and knees for about 5 minutes until I could get up and walk. I had to lay down to get it straightened out. at this moment, I have a feeling of pressure in my forehead. not severe but there. When I had this latest case, I also had nausea. when I move my head to either side I get dizzy.
At the outset I would like further information for better assessment of the condition like your age. Do you have diabetes or high blood pressure? Have you taken any medicine? I would advise you to visit any nearest emergency care for recording of blood pressure, checking of blood sugar level and ECG if need be.
Meanwhile you should remain watchful especially when you stand or you are alone, you may fall down and hurt yourself.Use some support while standing up.Hope this answers your question, please feel free to ask for follow up question I will be happy to help you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. B R Hudda
