What Causes Vertigo While Sleeping And Lump Behind The Ear?

Hi, I have suffered from vertigo while sleeping since last week on Monday. The vertigo makes me feel sick and makes my head spin clockwise. It only occurs when I am sleeping or resting. I have countered this by turning the other way. This morning, I noticed a small bone like lump at the back of my left ear, which is not on the right. Could you tell me what s wrong?
