What Causes Vertigo While Suffering From Brain Infection?
I have an 86 yr old man find who is vertigo symptoms but was hospitalized recently for 4 days...he is saying that he has a brain infection and it may require surgery if he doesn t respond to the treatment. He can t tell me the name of the infection. he called it picoitus ???????. Any clues as to what it could be. He had been experiencing vertigo symptoms for over a year.
Brain infection can be meningitis or other pyogenic abscess involving various lobes of the brain, particularly that of frontal or occipital lobe where balance issues will arise. Kindly provide me lab data, MRI plates for evaluation in details during follow up conversation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
