What Causes Vertigo While Treating High BP?

is there a connection between vertigo and high blood pressure I am very fit and now on blood pressure tablets should I continue my exercise regime while feeling a bit odd vertigo a lot less does it go away I feel a bit like a rolls Royce running on standard petrol a bit confused and unhappy

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern.

1. since you are on blood pressure medicine, it may be excess dose or postural hypotension, so ideally contact with a Cardiologist who will either stop the drug for a day, then adjust the dose or use a different drug

2. If not promptly controlled ask for Hb%, X-ray cervical spine, ENT & ophthalmic check up.

2. till then:
. avoid movement of the head,if giddiness is severe [bed rest]
. capsule becasules one twice daily
. injection neurobion 2cc IM [alternate day] for 5 days
. If there are cochlear symptoms [tinnitus/deafness] add tablet betahistine 8 mg along with tablet cinnarizine
