What Causes Very Painful, Red, Swollen, Knot Like Bulge On Hand?
Hello, I have a very painful, red, swollen, knot or boil-like bulge, about 1/2 inch wide on my hand. it developed suddenly. is very painful. i think it could be a spider bite but not sure. have had it for a couple days now. maybe getting bigger. how can i relieve the pain . it may be filled with pus, not sure
You should: 1. Soak your hands in warm water with potassium permanganate 2. Rinse first with warm water followed by cold water 3. Dry well 4. Apply triple antibiotic ointment twice daily 5. Apply allergy relief ointment twice daily 6. Apply aloe vera gel throughout the day
If there is still no improvement within a couple of days, you should see your caring doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
