Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having a vibrating feeling in my lower stomach/pelvic area. It started off every once in a while but now it is constant. I started eating Activia yogurt twice a day about a month ago. I am thinking that may have caused it. So I have stopped eating the yogurt. What do you think it may be and what can I do or take to stop it?
Your history is suggestive of pelvic muscle spasm which can be the cause of vibrating feeling in the pelvis. Neuropathy and pelvic inflammatory disorders should also be ruled out. Pelvic scan can be taken. Stress can also cause such symptoms which should also be avoided with mind relaxation techniques.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
