What Causes Vibrating Sensation In The Lung And Pain In The Upper Back?

I have been having a weird vibrating sensation that feels like it s in about the middle of right lung, and also have some upper back pain. It s new a new sensation for me. I do however have an artificial (bovine) aortic valve, 16 years old, but I don t think this has anything to do with that. What do you think?

Hello,

A chest x-ray will of good choice to rule out the factors associated. As the upper back pain can be due to posture or muscle spasm. But the vibration part which you mentioned needs a clinical examination. Usually, post valve replacement this won't be symptom associated but if there is any pathology related to lung than we need to rule out.

Also, as you have a valve replacement in the past I will advise you to do regular breathing exercises, simple free range of motion exercises, modify your diet and get a regular echo for the valve assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
