Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
for the last couple of days I have been having a strange buzzing, vibration in my vagina. It started a few days ago and at first I thought it was the chair or something but it has been going on for a few days now. It does not last but just a few seconds and then stops but starts back in a few minutes and on and on. It does not hurt but I am worried what is going on?
There is usually some air in the vagina, but vaginal gas may occur when larger pockets or bubbles become stuck and slowly squeak out, or when the air is released suddenly.
Vaginal gas usually causes a noticeable sound as the trapped air vibrates through the vaginal canal. This may sound similar to flatulence.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Monish De, Oncologist
