What Causes Vibrating Sensation On The Right Heel?

I am feeling a muscle vibration on the bottom of my right heel? It feels like a phone on vibrating. It lasts about a minute with about 30 seconds not vibrating. I have on occasion had the same type of vibration on my hip and some times on my upper arm on the outside. I always though that it was just a muscle thing?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
It may be muscle thing or neural thing. This could be a condition called muscle fasciculation and this is seen in certain disorders such as magnesium or calcium shortage or vitamin d shortage so you should ask your doctor about these supplements. Diabetes may cause it as well, but also some neuropathies which are however much less common. If this will persist you should check your blood sugar and do electrimiography, but first, have some magnesium and calcium suppleents to see if this will improve. In first case,
I hope I have answered you query
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
