Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Vibrations On Right Side Of Chest And Pounding Sensation In Right Ear?
I am a 63 year old female with a family history of heart disease. For the past several days I have been feeling a vibration on the right side of my chest. No chest pain, just an odd vibration. I also have a very loud pounding in my right ear, almost sounding like the surging of blood, when my head is turned a certain way. I have been told that I have plaque issues in both carotid arteries and that there is nothing that can be done because the plaque is at the end of the artery. I did have a TIA a year ago.I would appreciate any advice you would be kind enough to send my way.Thank you! BA Muellner
According to your history, you need proper cardiac examination, ECG, echo, and carotid arteries Doppler. Change in lifestyle is the real secret plus avoid lying on the chest.
