What Causes Violent Behavior When Asleep And No Recollection Of It?
I am a 40 year old female that has had episodes where i would lay down for a nap. During that time i would apparently either be totally unconsciencous or would become violent in nature. When i would finally wake up i would have no memory of any of it. To me it would feel like i took a nap and woke up. The amount of time this would occur has varied from a couple of hours and up to 4 days. Any ideas what might be a possible cause of this?

One test is needed EEG (electroencephalogram) during wake and sleep, it studies all waves and accordingly treatment is prescribed.
