Hi, this question is regarding my 10 year old son. Recently he had a growth spurt and grew 2 inches and thinned out a bit. He just had a physical and he is healthy. However I noticed after he is active, running around etc I can see his heart beat. Is this normal in a thin child?

What Causes Visible Heart Beats In A Child?
Hi, I understand your concern. Your 10 year old child is thin in structure. After having a high physical activity, heart beats more often and stronger. When having a thin structure, heart beats can be visible. That s completely normal as long as clinical check up is clear. All the best.
