Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is it normal to see my heart rate visible in my left breast? I am 28, female and very thin--but not underweight. I began noticing it a year ago and it s disturbing to me. At times it is even perceptible when I have clothes on. I mentioned it to my doctor once and he did not seem concerned.
Visible heartbeats in the left breast is a right location for heart impulse. If you notice it long time and compare to last time it is different than before we can say you have palpitation. Your heart show bounding pulse and in many cases the cause for bounding pulse is never found. And it usually not severe of life threatening. You already see your doctor and he did evaluated you already he found nothing serious so it meant you are good now. But if you have any palpitation stronger and longer see your doctor again to find your underlying causes.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Heang Chan Raksmey, General & Family Physician
