What Causes Visual Blackouts Along With Uncontrollable Shaking Of Body?
Hey I would like to know more about what s happening to me physically. I m 22 years old I m 6 3 tall and weight about 183 pounds. I have been blacking out visually but not mentally I also when blacking out lose all body control and shake unstoppably. I can still talk and know I m doing it but there s nothing I can do to stop I was told its a form of a seizure and would like info on it I m doing it about 3 times a week right now but can t afford a hospital visit
You are having visual blackouts + uncontrollable shaking of body, without loss of consciousness / awareness. How long an episode lasts? Does the shaking affect the whole body or only some parts? Is there any nausea / vomiting? Any muscle / limb weakness following this?
From what you said, it can indicate a partial seizure with visual aura. It is better to get an appointment with your doctor, as this may need an EEG (electro encephalogram) and sometimes MRI brain depending on detailed history and examination finding.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
