My 16 year old son had a spell with his vision this morning where he thought he saw the towel hook on the wall move. Now he said he just took a shower and a lot of hair came out in his hands as he was shampooing. Enough to concern a 16 yr old boy. he did have an MRI a week ago for a soccer injury but other than that he has been healthy. any thoughts?
As per your query your son have visual hallucinations and he also had MRI due to soccer injury . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like drugs such as marijuana, amphetamines, heroin, ketamine, and alcohol , delirium or dementia , epilepsy , psychiatric disorders , depression or sensory problem . I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor will take complete history , may order CT scan and MRI again , complete blood profile . Doctor may also refer you to psychologist . Hallucinations caan also occur due to certain medications . For now as him to do meditation and keep himself relax .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
