What Causes Voice Hoarseness And Pain?

I swallowed a vitamin that got stuck in my throat.I retched many times and vomited a small amount.I am now very hoarse and my throat is very painful. It hurts to swallow. I am not short of breath.Tylenol, tums, and baking soda have not helped.
